A unique HCUP hospital number exclusive to the KID; links to the Hospital Weights file. HOSP_KID cannot link to previous years or other databases. Beginning with the 2012 KID, hospital names and identifiers are no longer available, and the HCUP hospital identification number (HOSPID) is replaced by the KID hospital number (HOSP_KID). |
