The table presents information on hospital costs for excess Black or African American admissions in 2004. In the table, excess hospital costs have been estimated for Medicaid separately from all payers and also by primary diagnosis (all diagnoses, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, asthma, and neonatal intensive care admissions).
